Vintage African Baule Indigo Mudcloth from Ivory Coast. Hand woven Malian cotton fabric is traditionally hand-dyed by a tribe in West Africa. Multiple pieces of cloth are hand woven together to make one, large cloth. These gorgeous mudcloths are perfect for styling and photo props, as a rug, wall decor, blanket, draped over a couch, or a beach blanket. They are also used to make pillows or upholster chairs. Each is very unique, no two are alike. 

100% cotton

Color: Indigo Lime with pink stripes. Lime feather fringe each end. Multi color hand stitched color block accents throughout, with gorgeous diamond and lattice pattern. 

These mudcloths are vintage and show signs of wear consistent with age and history. They may have imperfections, small holes, fringes, frays, patches, or stains that add beautiful and unique character to each piece. These are not considered defects.
